The board of directors for Integrum AB has as per August 13, 2018 appointed Rutger Barrdahl to the acting CEO of Integrum AB, He succeeds Carl Ekvall. As of the same date, the board has appointed the Integrums founder Rickard Branemark to the chairman of the board of the company. Rickard Branemark left in the spring of 2018 with his service as a professor at the University of California San Francisco which allows for a substantially increased involvement in Integrum. Former chairman of the board Magnus Kristoferson remain on the board as a member.
Rutger Barrdahl has extensive experience from leading positions primarily within the SKF group and comes from a position as director for the business area, Aerospace. Rutger is a civil engineer from Chalmers University of technology.

Integrums system for skelettförankring of the implants, it is so far only approved by the u.s. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Operations with the Integrums system occurs at a number of leading hospitals in Europe and currently there are cooperation with two well-known hospitals in the united states, Walter Reed, and UC San Francisco.
